I hold a degree in Studio Art from Grinnell College and have spent the past 20 years mastering the art of business in leadership roles across Product, Sales, Finance, and Operations for organizations ranging from startups to public companies. I hold several patents, am a Minnesotan on the Move award recipient, and have served on non-profit boards including MetroIBA, St. Paul Central High School Foundation (Chair), and Unity Church-Unitarian (President).

Hi I’m Seley, the founder of Wugs. Wugs is a game changer! As the world's first inclusive self-checkout micro market and vending company, we offer a wide range of food and drinks that represent different demographics from around the world. Wugs represents different things for different people; to some, it's a chance to explore global cuisine, such as freshly made sushi, mouth-watering plantain chips or refreshing jarritos, while to others, it provides a sense of community and belonging, akin to a home away from home. Despite the presence of numerous ethnic grocery stores and restaurants and a significant demand for global cuisine in an increasingly diverse nation, traditional vending and micro market solutions lack these options. Wugs aims to bridge this gap by providing international food choices in vending, micro markets, and smart fridges, making them inclusive of underrepresented communities.

I drive the vision, strategy, and partnerships that connect sports performance, physical therapy, and everyday wellness across diverse populations, including aging adults and those with disorders that affect balance. ZeSa’s Dynamic Balance-Strength Training System™ is designed to improve balance, joint stabilization and neuromuscular activation for injury prevention, recovery and performance. I’m currently seeking funding to scale ZeSa’s manufacturing for a global launch to deliver innovative, science-backed solutions to the global fitness and rehabilitation markets.

In April 2023, she stepped into a Principal Engineering role after 2 years as Director of Engineering. Before entering the tech industry, Sonja managed a guitar store where she sold, maintained, and repaired guitars and other musical instruments.

Shannon Steven is an art teacher with a master’s degree in K-12 Art Education. Her passion for public art and making art accessible to everyone led her to create Wonder Wander. Her multi-faceted company includes a public art app, a weekly blog, and consulting services. Shannon believes that art-making is an innate human drive that should be accessible to everyone. Through adventure, technique building, mindfulness and art activities, and engaging play, she helps people experience an increased sense of wonder and the benefits that visual art can provide. ‍ She is an approachable and enthusiastic teacher who values wonder and curiosity and enjoys how the visual arts make these values accessible to everyone!
